I hate to lose stuff. George Carlin does a bit about losing stuff that is hysterical. Part of what he talks about is how his mom used to say that "it didn't just get up and walk away." Actually in my case it did. I lost my friend Mike. He was last seen by me about 6 years ago. His full name is Michael James Mulvey. Birthday 1-11-72. I have been looking for him for about 5 years. Last I knew he was in the Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA. I wrote to the Navy and they said he is no longer on active duty so, he could be anywhere. This is his yearbook picture for which he will kill me when he finds out I posted it:) That's ok I want to see him again. If you know where I can find him let me know. Thanks!

Free Book Stuff

People like stuff. People like free stuff even more. I am no exception. I took a few classes at the Camden campus and it the cafeteria I saw a book with a post it that said FREE! So, I took it. Inside was a book mark from www.bookcrossing.com. This website tracks books. The idea is that you register your book and they give you a code # and write the # in the book and leave the book somewhere. (be creative) When someone picks up the book (and they always do) they can go to the site and write where they found the book and what they though of it if they read it then they can release it into the wild again. Check out the site it gives full details.

Counter Stuff

I was trying out some of the cool add ons for my blog so, I want you to check out my ultra cool counter at the bottom of the page. Ok maybe it's not ultra cool but I had to copy and paste the html so, I'm impressed:)


P.S. I just ran spell check on this blog entry and it doesn't recognize the word blog. Does that strike anyone else as odd?

Foolish Stuff

A few years ago I had an insurance agent over to the house to quote life insurance. We were sitting at the kitchen table talking for well over an hour when my cat Trixie (see previous post) walked onto my lap from the other chair. I looked under the tablecloth and said "Oh Hi Trixie." The agent saw the cat and started laughing. Apparently Trixie had her paw on his knee for the last hour and he thought it was me:) He turned 3 shades of red. It was just Trixie cating around. That's funny stuff.

Friendship Stuff

When I was in high school I had a best friend named Kim. We spent tons of time together even after we started college. I even went away to college and she wrote all the time and when I came home it was like I never left. One day she stopped returning my calls. Why do people do stuff like that? She didn't even give me a reason. Today is her birthday. I still remember that after all these years. I miss her.

Spring Stuff

The weather has been really terrible as of late. I went outside today and I have a little purple Crocus trying to poke it's way out. I love when God does that stuff.

Birthday Stuff

You know when you were little and you couldn't wait until your birthday? You would count the days and tell people that you were 8 and 3/4 and you will soon be nine. When does that stuff change? Today is my Birthday and someone at work asked me how old I was and I had to stop and thin about it. I then decided I was turning 31. I was wrong. How bad is that? To set stuff straight I turned 32 today.

Group Work Stuff

This is my first in a series of stuff I don't like. I really dislike doing group work at school. I always seem to get stuck with the person that doesn't do stuff right or doesn't do stuff on time. I hate being rushed at the end!

Art Stuff - Four Seasons by Leon Frederic

There are a lot of paintings that I really love. Impressionism painting is my personal favorite. Monet's stuff is really great. It wasn't until I went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and saw Leon Frederic's paintings of the "Four Seasons" that I was really wowed by a piece of artwork. I had never heard of Frederic's stuff when I walked into the room with these paintings. They really dominate the room and take you breath away when you see them. I just wanted to share them with you. Let me know what you think of them.

Quote Stuff - Peter's Friends

I love a good quote. If it's funny or serious or silly as long as it's memorable. My favorite quote is from a movie called Peter's Friends. I saw it 100 years ago so, I'm not sure who said it but here it is: "I've never fallen in love but I've stepped in it a few times." You know your movie is great stuff when it's quoted a lot. Furry Stuff - Trixie and Max

These are my kitties. We have had Trixie since 2001 and Max from 2002. We got Trixie from the animal shelter and Max was found on the side of the road. When we first got Max Trixie wouldn't put up with his stuff. Now, The cats get along most of the time.

Author Stuff - Terry Kay

Terry Kay is my favorite author. I like his stuff because all of his books are different. Most autors find a subject that works and every book has the same feel to it. Terry's stuff is different. He is also a very nice guy. I like him a comment on his website and he answered me personally and sent me an autographed photo. Now that's cool stuff.

Web Stuff - Things my girlfriend and I have argued about

This is my current favorite website. www.milmillington.com It is titled "Things my girlfriend and I have argued about." The website is not my favorite because of graphics and stuff it is my favorite because of how funny it is. It starts off slow so give it some time. Mil is from England and Margaret is from Germany and this tends to make for strange conversations. The website has a sort of cult following and since starting the site Mil has written 3 books. I have read the first two and they are also very funny. I like humor stuff.

Ok here is the first favorite thing. It is Duran Duran's Astronaut CD/DVD. I have been listening to their stuff since 1982. There was a time when the band fractured into Arcadia and Power Station and each recored some stuff. I liked Power Station better, maybe I'll write about their stuff.
